Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE JULY 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how termiNIL LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("termiNIL," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use terminil.com and the termiNIL terminal (together, the "Service"). We keep this simple, because what we collect is simple: we run a data product about football players, not about you.

1. Information We Collect

We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the Service, and we do not sell personal information.

2. A Note on Athlete Data

The valuations themselves are not personal data you gave us. termiNIL publishes modeled estimates about college football players built from publicly available information — rosters, on-field statistics, depth charts, conference and program data, and public social-media follower counts. These are our own analytical opinions about public figures in their public athletic roles. If you are an athlete (or an athlete's authorized representative) and believe something we publish about you is inaccurate, contact us and we will review it promptly.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to provide and secure the Service, maintain accounts and subscriptions, understand how the terminal is used so we can improve it, calibrate and improve our valuation model, respond to you, and comply with legal obligations. If we send product updates by email, you can opt out at any time.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with: service providers that host and operate the Service on our behalf (currently Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Vercel for web hosting), which process it under their own contractual obligations; professional advisors where needed; authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses browser storage for one purpose: keeping you signed in (authentication session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

6. Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists, and usage logs for as long as reasonably needed for operations and security. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business records (such as billing history).

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time by emailing us. Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and, for visitors from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the GDPR — you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising those rights. We honor such requests regardless of where you live: email us and we'll take care of it. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including hosted authentication with hashed passwords and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves — for example, if we add self-serve billing (which would introduce a payment processor). We will post updates here with a new effective date and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify account holders.
